AN ACT CONCERNING APPORTIONMENT OF DAMAGES IN
PERSONAL INJURY AND WRONGFUL DEATH CASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 52-572h of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
apportionment of damages in personal injury and wrongful death 2
trials between a defendant and former defendant who received a 3
withdrawal from the plaintiff. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit apportionment of damages in personal injury and wrongful
death trials between a defendant and former defendant who received a
withdrawal from the plaintiff.
