AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXCEPTION TO THE PREVAILING WAGE
REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (h) of section 31-53 of the general statutes be 1
amended to increase the prevailing wage threshold to five hundred 2
thousand dollars for the total cost of work to be performed in 3
connection with remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, 4
alteration or repair of any public works project. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the prevailing wage threshold for certain municipal
projects.
