AN ACT PERMITTING THE POSTING OF LEGAL NOTICES ON
MUNICIPAL INTERNET WEB SITES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-2 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
any provision of the general statutes, the special acts or the charter of 2
any municipality that requires the insertion by a municipality of an 3
advertisement of a legal notice in a daily newspaper shall be construed 4
to permit such notice to be posted on the Internet web site of the 5
municipality. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to post legal notices on their Internet web
sites.
