AN ACT CONCERNING THE PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES ON
MUNICIPAL INTERNET WEB SITES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-2 of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
municipality to advertise in a newspaper a brief description of a legal 2
notice, provided such description includes the address of such 3
municipality's Internet web site and a statement indicating that 4
additional information regarding the legal notice may be obtained on 5
such Internet web site. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce newspaper public notice requirements for municipalities.
