AN ACT CONCERNING AN ALTERNATE MEANS OF PUBLISHING
LEGAL NOTICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-2 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
any provision of the general statutes, the special acts or the charter of 2
any municipality that requires the insertion by a municipality of an 3
advertisement of a legal notice in a daily newspaper shall be construed 4
to permit an alternate means of publishing such notice. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To give towns an alternate means of publishing legal notices.
