AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF WRITTEN WARNINGS
PROVIDING NOTICE OF VIOLATIONS OF MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS
AND ORDINANCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (10) of subsection (c) of section 7-148 of the general 1
statutes be amended to permit municipalities to opt out of the 2
requirement that a municipal officer or employee issue a written 3
warning providing notice of a violation of a municipal regulation or 4
ordinance prior to the issuance of a citation. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to opt out of the requirement that a municipal
officer or employee issue a written warning providing notice of a
violation of a municipal regulation or ordinance prior to the issuance
of a citation.
