AN ACT CONCERNING THE COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT
PROPERTY TAXES BY THIRD PARTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require, where a third party 1
collects or attempts to collect delinquent property taxes, such third 2
party to provide to the taxpayer a customer contact phone number, 3
which shall be staffed by a contact person, to call regarding the 4
delinquent property tax claim. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require, where a third party collects or attempts to collect
delinquent property taxes, such third party to provide to the taxpayer
a customer contact phone number, which shall be staffed by a contact
person, to call regarding the delinquent property tax claim.
