AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRESCRIBING OF ALTERNATIVE
MEDICATIONS IN LIEU OF OPIOID DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to encourage prescribing 1
practitioners to prescribe alternative medications in lieu of opioid 2
drugs. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage the prescribing of alternatives to opioid drugs.
