AN ACT EXEMPTING FIRE DEPARTMENTS AND VOLUNTEER FIRE
COMPANIES FROM THE FEE FOR A CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS
CHECK OF A PROSPECTIVE FIREFIGHTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 529 of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1
municipal fire departments and volunteer fire companies from the fees 2
for conducting a criminal history records check on a prospective 3
firefighter. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt fire departments and volunteer fire companies from paying
fees for conducting a criminal history records check on a prospective
firefighter.
