AN ACT INCREASING EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR
MUNICIPAL AND STATE POLICE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 7-294d and 29-3a of the general statutes be amended to 1
require municipal and state police officers to obtain an associate 2
degree not later than five years after the date on which such officers 3
are sworn in. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase educational requirements for municipal and state police
officers.
