AN ACT EXCLUDING OVERTIME PAY FROM THE CALCULATION OF
STATE EMPLOYEE PENSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit overtime pay from 1
being included in the pension calculation for state workers, effective to 2
new state employees upon passage and to all state employees after 3
July 1, 2027. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit overtime pay from being included in the calculation of
state pensions.
