AN ACT CONCERNING PERMITTING FOR MARINE DREDGING
PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a separate, 1
streamlined permit process for maintenance marine dredging in order 2
to provide for the removal of accumulated sediment at marina basins 3
and access channels and boat slips. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for a less extensive dredging permit process for
maintenance dredging.
