AN ACT CONCERNING CARBON PRICING AND THE PAYMENT OF
AN ANNUAL DIVIDEND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a carbon price on 1
fossil fuels and return the cost in the form of an annual dividend to 2
consumers. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To shift the energy market away from fossil fuels and reduce climate
change risks and unhealthy air quality.
