AN ACT CONCERNING CARBON PRICING AND A GREEN NEW
DEAL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a carbon price on 1
fossil fuels and to require the use of such funds to train workers in 2
green technology job sectors ranging from renewable energies to 3
electrical engineering. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To shift the market from fossil fuels to renewable energy while
creating green jobs in the state.
