AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROTECTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY
OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY FUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to isolate or protect the funds 1
of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, Connecticut Energy 2
Efficiency Fund and Green Bank from diversion and their intended use 3
and to require an annual accounting and report of the expenditures of 4
such funds which indicates the energy saved and cost per unit of 5
energy saved. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To restore and protect the purposes of the three clean energy funds
while adding legislative oversight of such funds.
