AN ACT CONCERNING A MINIMUM MEDICAID BASE RATE FOR
METHADONE MAINTENANCE TREATMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require a 1
minimum base rate for methadone maintenance treatment under the 2
Medicaid program that addresses historical inequities in the base rate 3
for such treatment. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the inequitable methadone maintenance rates under the
Medicaid program.
