AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON SEXUAL
ASSAULTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to extend or 1
eliminate the statute of limitations for the prosecution of sexual 2
assaults. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To make Connecticut's statute of limitations for the prosecution of
sexual assaults similar to many other states.
