AN ACT CONCERNING MAMMOGRAMS AND ULTRASOUNDS FOR
BREAST CANCER SCREENING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the charging of a 1
copayment, cost-sharing, applying to a deductible or charging of a 2
facility fee for both routine and baseline mammograms and breast 3
ultrasounds for purposes of breast cancer screening. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the charging of a copayment, cost-sharing, applying to a
deductible or charging of a facility fee for both routine and baseline
mammograms and breast ultrasounds for purposes of breast cancer
screening.
