AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO INVESTIGATE THE
SCREENINGS, TREATMENT AND OUTCOMES OF INMATES WITH
HEPATITIS C OR OPIOID USE DISORDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to investigate screenings, treatment 1
and outcomes of inmates of the Department of Correction who have 2
the hepatitis C virus or opioid use disorder. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require an investigation of the treatment and outcomes of certain
inmates.
