| 20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
| 21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

| 23 | 23 | That section 7-190 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | the appointing authority of a municipality to appoint a commission to 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | review the municipality's charter or home rule ordinance once every 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | ten years and prepare a report summarizing any amendments to the 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | charter or home rule ordinance that such commission determines are 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | necessary, and (2) permit a municipal legislative body to make minor 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | and technical revisions to the municipality's charter or home rule 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | ordinance without following the procedure set forth in subsections (a) 8 | |
| 31 | 31 | to (g), inclusive, of section 7-190 of the general statutes, provided such 9 | |
| 32 | 32 | revisions are deemed minor and technical by a two-thirds vote of such 10 | |
