AN ACT ALLOWING OFF -DUTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS TO
CARRY FIREARMS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53a-217b of the general statutes be amended to allow a 1
law enforcement officer to carry a firearm on school grounds while not 2
engaged in the performance of official duties 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow off-duty law enforcement officers to carry firearms on school
grounds.
