AN ACT CONCERNING A VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Economic and Community Development to establish a pilot program 2
in which the state system of public higher education and the State 3
Board of Education collaborate with the United States military to 4
explore vocational training and apprenticeship opportunities for high 5
school seniors and college students. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To train the next generation of the state's workforce.
