AN ACT CONCERNING PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR
BILINGUAL EDUCATION TEACHERS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-145h of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
an individual from another country applying for professional 2
certification as a bilingual education teacher to be exempt from the 3
examination requirements of section 10-145f of the general statutes if 4
such individual holds a degree from an accredited college or 5
university. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To address the shortage of bilingual education teachers in the state.
