1818 AN ACT INCREASING THE AMOUNT A SCHOOL DISTRICT MAY

2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2424 That section 10-262j of the general statutes be amended to repeal the 1
2525 limit that a school district may reduce its budgeted appropriation for 2
2626 education when a district experiences a decline in the number of 3
2727 resident students enrolled in such school district. 4
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To provide mandate relief by allowing school districts greater
3030 authority to reduce their education budgets when there is reduced
3131 student enrollment.
