AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PROHIBITION ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF
SINGLE-USE PLASTIC BAGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the retail 1
distribution of single-use plastic bags. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the use of single-use plastic bags.
