AN ACT CONCERNING PROSECUTORIAL IMMUNITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that prosecutorial 1
immunity be subject to greater judicial discretion in its application and 2
that in cases of intentional and wilful misconduct determined by the 3
court to be egregious, the court may lift immunity to allow persons to 4
sue if they have been harmed by such misconduct. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that prosecutors do not abuse their immunity.
