AN ACT CONCERNING CHILD VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to provide for 1
privileged communication, an affirmative defense and immunity from 2
prosecution for nonviolent crimes for minor victims of human 3
trafficking. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the health and safety of minor victims of human trafficking
and support law enforcement investigations by providing victims with
privileged communication, an affirmative defense and immunity from
prosecution for nonviolent crime.
