AN ACT CONCERNING THE TRANSFER OF MONEY TO A
CORRECTIONAL FACILITY INMATE'S ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 18 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
Department of Correction from charging or contracting with a 2
company that charges a person to transfer money into an inmate's 3
account. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for free transfers of money into inmates' accounts.
