AN ACT CONCERNING STATE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS AND 
LARGE, STATE-ASSISTED CONSTRUCTION. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 31 of the general statutes be amended to require 1 
contractors on large, state-assisted construction projects costing greater 2 
than ten million dollars to use apprentices from a state-registered 3 
apprenticeship program with a graduation rate greater than thirty per 4 
cent. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To link state apprenticeship programs with major state-assisted 
construction.
