AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS WHILE
RECEIVING SEVERANCE PAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit 1
individuals from receiving unemployment benefits during any period 2
in which they are receiving severance pay. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the solvency of the Unemployment Trust Fund.
