AN ACT REQUIRING CERTAIN EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE NOTIFICATION TO APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require any employer that 1 employs twenty or more employees to notify applicants for 2 employment when (1) such applicant will be granted an interview, or 3 (2) the position such applicant applied for is filled. 4 Statement of Purpose: To require certain employers to provide notice to applicants for employment regarding the status of their application.
