1818 AN ACT AN ACT CONCERNING SAFETY METRICS.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That section 31-383 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
2323 Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Administration to 2
2424 compile an annual report to be presented to the legislature containing 3
2525 the following information for the state: (1) The number of injured 4
2626 workers and their corresponding demographics, (2) the number of 5
2727 Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Administration and 6
2828 federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration investigations, 7
2929 (3) the number of workplace citations, (4) the number of antiretaliation 8
3030 cases, (5) new regulations issued, (6) the number of workplace 9
3131 fatalities, (7) the number of criminal prosecutions for workplace 10
3232 fatalities, (8) worker safety and environmental research being 11
3333 conducted at state universities, (9) relevant legislation introduced or 12
3434 passed, (10) the number and types of hazards abated, (11) the number 13
3535 of work zone accidents, (12) the number and types of toxins released, 14
3636 according to Environmental Protection Agency data, (13) the extent of 15
3737 air and water pollution, and (14) relevant data from the Department of 16
