AN ACT INCREASING THE MINIMUM EARNINGS NECESSARY TO 
QUALIFY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to increase a 1 
claimant's minimum earnings required to qualify for unemployment 2 
benefits from six hundred dollars to not less than two thousand dollars 3 
per year. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To increase the minimum earnings necessary to qualify for 
unemployment benefits.
