AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENT TO MUNICIPALITIES FOR
THE LOSS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TAX REVENUE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (g) of section 12-170aa of the general statutes be 1
amended to eliminate the provision permitting the Secretary of the 2
Office of Policy and Management to reduce the amount due as 3
reimbursement from the state to a municipality for loss of property tax 4
revenue incurred due to tax reductions provided to certain elderly 5
homeowners. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To reimburse municipalities for the loss of property tax revenue
incurred due to tax reductions provided to certain elderly
homeowners.
