Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize local and regional 1
boards of education to impose a local education tax for the purpose of 2
funding public education. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize boards of education to impose a local education tax for
the purpose of funding public education.
