AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL SERVICE
PROGRAMS BY MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to require urban 1
municipalities and municipalities with racially and ethnically diverse 2
populations to provide social service programs for low-income 3
residents of such municipalities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require certain municipalities to provide social service programs for
low-income residents.
