AN ACT CONCERNING A PLAN FOR PATIENT ADVOCACY OFFICES
AT HOSPITALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Office of the Health Care Advocate, in conjunction with the 1
Department of Public Health, develop a plan for the establishment of 2
patient advocacy offices at hospitals in the state and submit a progress 3
report on such plan not later than November 15, 2019, and the final 4
plan not later than January 15, 2020, to the joint standing committee of 5
the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public 6
health. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To develop a plan for the establishment of patient advocacy offices at
hospitals in the state.
