AN ACT CONCERNING THE FULL FUNDING OF THE TEACHERS'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish a dedicated 1
funding source, which may include the Connecticut Lottery, for the 2
teachers' retirement system, and (2) require that the state fully fund the 3
required annual contribution for said system in every fiscal year. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To help improve the long term sustainability and solvency of the
teachers' retirement system.
