AN ACT ELIMINATING MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENTS, LONGEVITY
PAYMENTS AND OVERTIME COMPENSATION FROM THE
CALCULATION OF PENSIONS FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1
mileage reimbursements, longevity payments and overtime 2
compensation from the pension calculation formula for state 3
employees. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that state employee pension calculations are based only on
base salary.
