AN ACT PROHIBITING EXPENDITURES FOR THE KRONOS TIME
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any further 1
expenditures to implement the Kronos time management system in 2
state agencies unless its cost-effectiveness and practicality is 3
determined. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To save over twenty-five million dollars in implementation costs,
including the installation and wiring of one thousand forty-one clocks,
eight million dollars per year in software licensing fees, Kronos
consultant and training fees and operational costs.
