AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CONNECTICUT CULTURAL FACILITIES
FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a Connecticut 1
Cultural Facilities Fund to provide grants to small and mid-sized 2
cultural facilities in the state, all state funding for which will be 3
matched by private funds on a sliding scale based on grant amount. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To bolster the long-term viability of small and mid-sized cultural
facilities in the state by providing an alternative to the traditional
bonding process through the Connecticut Cultural Facilities Fund.
