AN ACT CONCERNING REGIONAL SCHOOL SAFETY PLANNERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Emergency Services and Public Protection to seek assistance from the 2
federal Department of Homeland Security in establishing positions for 3
regional school safety planners charged with assisting school districts 4
in the planning for all hazards and emergencies and the effective 5
exercising, drilling and training of such plans. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To establish positions for regional school safety planners in the state.
