AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF FUNDING STREAMS FOR
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Commissioner of Education study alternative funding 1
streams for preschool programs to offset any losses due to any 2
elimination or reduction of federal grant funds. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To explore alternative funding streams in order to support preschool
programs.
