20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require that, upon 1 | |
24 | 24 | the identification of a child as gifted and talented, the local or regional 2 | |
25 | 25 | board of education responsible for educating such child shall develop 3 | |
26 | 26 | a list of educational needs that are not likely to be met by the general 4 | |
27 | 27 | education program at such child's school, such as instructional, 5 | |
28 | 28 | psychological and social-emotional, and that such list shall be 6 | |
29 | 29 | provided to the parents or guardians of such child and the principal of 7 | |
30 | 30 | the school that such child is enrolled. 8 | |
