AN ACT CONCERNING HOMELESS STUDENTS AND ACCESS TO 
EDUCATION. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 10-253 of the general statutes be amended to require 1 
any dispute resolution process regarding homeless children and 2 
youths, including accommodations for such students, to be conducted 3 
in a manner similar to the residency dispute resolution process 4 
described in section 10-186 of the general statutes. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require the dispute resolution process for homeless children and 
youths to be conducted in a manner similar to the residency dispute 
resolution process.
