AN ACT CONCERNING LITERACY IMPROVEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
reading program that improves the reading skills of students in 2
kindergarten to grade three, inclusive, ensuring that every student 3
reads at or above grade level by the end of grade three. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that every student reads at or above grade level by the end
of grade three.
