AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPARENT
HIRING PRACTICES BY BOARDS OF EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require local and 1
regional boards of education to develop transparent hiring practices. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To establish transparency and promote fairness in the hiring of school
employees.
