AN ACT PROHIBITING GAS COMPANIES FROM RECOVERING
COSTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW NATURAL GAS
PIPELINES FROM THEIR RATEPAYERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit gas companies 1
from recovering costs for the construction of new natural gas pipelines 2
in the state from such companies' ratepayers. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit gas companies from recovering costs for the construction
of new natural gas pipelines from their ratepayers.
