25 | 25 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

28 | 28 | That title 30 of the general statutes be amended to allow a permittee 1 | |
29 | 29 | authorized pursuant to said title to sell alcoholic liquor for on-premises 2 | |
30 | 30 | consumption via an automated machine that, upon activation of a 3 | |
31 | 31 | payment card by the permittee, may be operated to dispense beer, 4 | |
32 | 32 | cider not exceeding six per cent alcohol by volume and wine to the 5 | |
33 | 33 | following: (1) An employee of the permittee who is authorized by law 6 | |
34 | 34 | to serve alcoholic beverages, or (2) a person whom the permittee has 7 | |
35 | 35 | verified to be twenty-one years of age or older who displays a 8 | |
36 | 36 | government-issued identification card that matches the name on the 9 | |
37 | 37 | payment card. Such verification that a person is twenty-one years of 10 | |
38 | 38 | age or older shall be recorded by the permittee or an employee of the 11 | |
