2323 AN ACT ALLOWING THE USE OF SELF -SERVE ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR
2424 MACHINES BY CERTAIN PERMITTEES.
2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2626 Assembly convened:

2828 That title 30 of the general statutes be amended to allow a permittee 1
2929 authorized pursuant to said title to sell alcoholic liquor for on-premises 2
3030 consumption via an automated machine that, upon activation of a 3
3131 payment card by the permittee, may be operated to dispense beer, 4
3232 cider not exceeding six per cent alcohol by volume and wine to the 5
3333 following: (1) An employee of the permittee who is authorized by law 6
3434 to serve alcoholic beverages, or (2) a person whom the permittee has 7
3535 verified to be twenty-one years of age or older who displays a 8
3636 government-issued identification card that matches the name on the 9
3737 payment card. Such verification that a person is twenty-one years of 10
3838 age or older shall be recorded by the permittee or an employee of the 11
3939 permittee. 12

4141 To allow the use of self-serve alcoholic liquor machines on certain
