AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF PACKAGE STORE
PERMITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 30-14a of the general statutes be amended to subtract 1
any prison population from the population threshold requirement 2
when determining the total amount of package store permits that may 3
be granted per municipality. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce teenage drinking and improve the profits of package store
owners.
